More on that later π
I was supposed to go to the gym this evening and run tomorrow but remembered I'm having my girlie weekend nail polish removed tomoz (I'm going to miss my glittery nails even though I am not a girlie girl at all) I digress. Sorry. Decided it was a waste to spend time indoors on this lovely evening so laced up my running shoes and out the door.
Crazy chick that I am, I ran the route backwards for the first time - it was like running a new route, seeing things from a different perspective. Fun.
The uphill is quite mild at the start so only a toxic 5 π I even made a surprised squeak when Laura said I'd done 10 mins π I was feeling goood. Met a fellow runner avec chein πΆ he winked at me (man not dog) I was feeling more than good now! Just over half way now and grateful that it was downhill from here on out. Get overtaken by two gazelles who were chatting away. They were from the local tri club so super fit gazelles (maybe they should be cheetahs π or something π€) Run into the park having completely forgotten the running club are there on a Monday eve. My choice was run through them or turn round, on I went and naturally I picked up a bit of speed. Probably still looked snail pace to them but I'm out there! Note they were stationary.
Completed the run tired but happy. I would rate this as my best run to date π
Ok I've kept you hanging on long enough. My first today was an eye opener...... driving home from work along a busy dual carriageway, there in a layby on the other side of the road was a man getting into his car. Not unusual except he was wearing a black basque, suspenders and stockings! I did a comedy double take π. If by some random twist of fate you were that man can i just say you rocked that look ππ
Happy running folks xxx
