Good afternoon all,

I like to think myself as an early morning runner, getting my exercise in before I start work. However, I really struggled to drop off to sleep last night, no particular reason, just one of those nights when I couldnt stop my brain from thinking!

Alarm went off at 5:45am as normal, but my inner sloth refused to allow me to get up, all of a sudden I was finding excuses not to go; my groin was a bit tight and my knee had a very very feint ache.... the long and the short of it was I didnt go - I got up at 8am and started work (I work from home).

After a morning of emails and phone calls I popped on here and saw the post from Instructor57 , about beating the gremlins and completing his W9R2 run and only being one away. Within 5 minutes, I had my running gear on, had shoved half a narna down my kneck and few gulps of water, and was off on my 5 minute warm up walk!

It was a lot hotter than I am used to, but without wishing to sound too blase, was a relatively straight forward run, no dramas, and I felt like I could have gone on a little longer. Still only 8mins per KM, but its another run in the bag!

So thankyou to Mr Instructor and this forum in general for the inspiration; I am now due to graduate on Wednesday, and there is nothing that will stop me from getting up and at em!

See you at the finish line,

No drama runs are exactly what you need at this stage.

Your next run will be your a Graduation run! Hooray! πŸ‘
