Back out for a daylight run

So after the euphoria of Friday when I completed my first 5k I was initially looking forward to running today during daylight. However, since the early hours of Saturday morning I've been fighting off some tummy bug and generally feeling bluh. Not wanting to miss a day I waited for the rain to ease and dragged my sorry self off the couch and tucking my top into my trousers just in case I got caught short (lol) set off. I'm glad to say that although I sort of lost track of the actual distance, I ran for 36.5 minutes and think I completed (or as near as heck it) another 5k. On a lighter note I'm also glad to say that no 'accident's occurred lol!!

x

Glad there were no accidents, though that might have made you run even faster to try and get away from yourself ;)

Hope you will be back on top form really soon :)

Well done dereham-girl . I'm impressed with the commitment! :)

Do you have another target you're aiming for, or do you just wanna stick to getting out there running for 30 odd minutes a few times a week? x

Thanks me old mucker Lee337 - it was a struggle though.

Guess I'm wanting to maintain the 5k runs 3 times a week - gradually getting quicker then upping the distance slowly. x

No worries me ol' China! ;)

Well, we all struggle but at least you got out there and completed it. :)

Yeah, that's fair enough. I think it really helps to have a target of some sorts to aim for, whether that's actually running a longer distance or completing a previous distance in a quicker time. Good luck with next one and hopefully you'll be feeling better by then as well. x
