So no pressure !

I was out running with several of my friends this morning , the weather lovely, clear Autumn sky , very blue , fantastic for Manchester . We where doing an easy 11:5 mins to a mile when one announced it would be really good for us all to aim high and do the Manchester half marathon next October !

Before we knew it we where all agreeing .

Sooo any advice folks? All will be gratefully accepted πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£

  • The fact that you've got the best part of a year is great. Lots of the advice and HM training programmes assume you have a base. This winter might be a good time to base train.

    That's what friends are for...

  • Brilliant post! I'm sure you'll get great advice on preparing for this new goal and just think how you're going to feel once you've achieved it! πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ»

  • Good luck, I am up for the Birmingham HM next October as well. I have no one to train with me.

  • Perhaps we should do " virtual " training together :-)
