Tomorrow will be my first little run post op

Tomorrow morning I will be going for my first short run following my pace maker . I have been in the gym and cycled since but this will be the first time I am back out there running . I have a new super sports bra that fits comfortably over the battery

I'm so exited ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

  • Ooh good luck - I hope it goes well!

Make sure you ease yourself back in, gently does it!

  • Oh wow, that's exciting. I can't believe how quick your recovery has been! Have a wonderful first 'bionic' run. But don't overdo it. Grand that you're feeling up to it so soon :)

  • Oh that's great !

Good Luck, hope all goes well ! :-) xxx

  • Thanks everyone. I will let you know how it goes :-)

  • Hope all goes well! I'm sure it will. Take care ๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Ah, you must be recovering well then, good for you.

I had my pacemaker check today and was told it has 6 yrs 1 month of battery life left - and I've had this one nearly 6 years!

I find I have to wear a sports bra with a crop top over the top just to ensure adequate support of the pacemaker. You'll soon find out what suits you.

Take it steady tomorrow, you must tell us how you get on xx

  • Oh thanks for that tip , I will try a cropped top over the top x

  • Enjoy!

  • That's been a short stint on the IC, that's amazing. Slow and steady and give your self time to get used to it but that aside have a fabulous run.

  • Good luck! I love McFitty's idea of a bionic runner! :)

  • Good luck xx
