No pressure then........

So; when I started c25k I had every intention of having graduated by now and having 2 clear weeks to carry on pounding in preparation for an organised run (5k) on 20/09.

As it happens - I've missed a few runs along the way, and my week 9 run 3 (graduation run!!) will be at the organised run!

I had visions of being a svelte size 12 by now (hoping running would cause a miracle) but no, im still a size 16 (albeit a fitter size 16).

So if anybody happens to be in Sutton park in Sutton Coldfield on Sunday please give an extra cheer for me (I'll be the extremely red faced sweaty woman lagging behind everybody else!!). Oh yeah and along side me will be my super fit running husband who is basically walking as slog my guts out.

That's all.

I graduate on Saturday with a Parkrun on Saturday so we will be running twins in different places. I have tried 5K before but always run alone, so it will be an experience. I have forbidden my family from cheering me on, would be so embarrassed! ☺️ Julie

Good luck to you both. I think it's very fitting to finish in a run with lots of people. I was going to run at sutton coldfield, but I'm doing Worcester instead. I'll be thinking of you both.

Good luck to you both, I hope to do my first park run in a couple of weeks in Black Park. I have to work this sat. Feel a bit nervous about running with other people as I have always run on my own

Ooh! What fortuitous timing to have your grad run at an event. You'll have a blast - can't wait to read your post race report.
