Week 5 run 2

Another week has passed without a run πŸƒ n sight, so did week 2 thinking I'd never manage it. However it wasn't as bad as I'd imagined so it's onward to run 3, the dreaded 20 minutes! I'm going to repeat today's run a couple of times to get it really under my belt as I'm worried that I won't make it. Right now I'm feeling really proud of myself because I'm still in the game! Wanting to do the St Albans park run so much! Spurring me on.

W5R3 is a milestone and it's hard so you are doing the right thing - building your mental reserves and gearing yourself up to it. Once you manage to do it, the subsequent runs are not so scary and you'll know that when asked to run another 2,3 or 5 minutes, that you can do it.

Good luck.πŸ’πŸ‘£πŸƒπŸΏ

O well done 🌟🌟I'm just about to do my week 8 run 2 & sun shining so planning a new route with a view πŸ˜€πŸ˜€believe in yourself you will manage 20mins ok. It was my biggest fear & the continuous runs still are but I have made it!! Slowly I grant you but still running🐒🐒& as they all say don't start off too fast slow & slower if needed! I'm like you can't believe I am still doing the c25k it's not been easy but the sense of achievement at the end it worth it😊😊 keep up the good work if I can do it at 59 anyone can!! See you at graduation😊😊x

Well done you for completing W5R2, you should be really proud. Yes the dreaded 20 minutes non stop run. You're doing the right thing about repeating couple of runs or you could have more rest days that helps too.

I remember thinking other members are joking there is no way Laura would tell us to run for 20 minutes non stop, no way I would make it but like all the others before me I did it and so can you.

Wishing you the best of luck. You can do it.

:)
