Week 5 Run 2 Completed...

I just wanted to post to remind myself of how happy I was to run 8 minutes straight, not once but twice! It seemed a long time ago when I started (for the third time) the C25K programme, and to have made it almost to the end of Week 5 when I'd stopped for other reasons around Week 4 twice, well, just feels mentally like I've overcome a barrier! Plus running in this downpour was glorious after a few weeks of heat and tomato-face, there was no-one around!

I'm glad I've discovered this community, especially as I am balking a little at the runs coming up but I feel like I'm in good hands if I do have questions or worries.

Yes hold on to that feeling! I feel great after a run/jog(!) and want to go out the next day but don’t, and then when it comes around to the next run I get all overwhelmed with it again so need to remember that elated feeling!!

I will definitely hold on to that feeling! Especially as I'm seeing 20 minutes and gulping. I can see you've already got over that hurdle so it gives me encouragement :)
