So just did Week 6, Run 1 and although I did it I did find it hard. I foolishly expected it to be 'a walk in the park' after last week's 20 minutes run so just don't know why it was hard although I think maybe the stop and start running stops me getting into any sort of rhythm. Took me by surprise though! 😨
On the positives it was a beautiful morning running round the lake, quite chilly in the shade but how I like it. Plenty of other runners out this morning too and that's another run done and dusted! 😃😃

I think Week 6 has caught out a number of us but you've only got one more 'interval run' then you're on to building up your stamina and the minutes straight through.
That dastardly Week 6 strikes again - I think after the straight run at the end of W5 it's hard to go back to interval training....Well done 😀You did it and only one more like this and then it's all straight running 😀
Sneaky little monkey, that Week 6.. catches us all out..but YOU DID IT!!!!!
Well done you... a great run!
The main thing is that you are winning at the mind games . I can sense your feeling of achievement like the rest of us.
I am amazed at how easy my running 5k working up to 6K has become "like a walk in the park". I had been running within spitting distance of 6K regularly recently. I did just a 5K run yesterday and my legs hardly ached.
I thought to myself that was too easy "like a walk in the park". I have an insane urge to challenge myself to go back to running 6K because I didn't feel like I had had a run?
I think I am getting addicted. You may too . I think of those Artists who "suffer for their Art" ! Maybe runners have to suffer too ? I relish the challenge, It's spooky. Or am I going bonkers !!
I think this is one of the strangest things I've posted on this site. I am going bonkers !
