So this morning I did my 2nd park run as my w8 R3. I know I didn't leave a rest day but really wanted to do park run again this week. There was easy 100% more people this week and unfortunately on my last lap, I put my foot in some mud and out it went from under me, had to walk a few steps to get my balance and rhythm back but still managed to knock 3 mins off my time from last week π
On another surprising but very pleasing note was checking my strava account, I've done 5 X 5k's in the last 7 days. I hadn't realised I'd started hitting the magic 5 so often. Can't wait for week 9.
I'm going to chill for a couple of days this week so I get to do my w9 r3 next Saturday for another park run. It's so close now, so so close. I can't believe that 8 weeks ago I was struggling at week 1, honest I was gasping at 30 seconds.
I'm so so thankful to C25k it's really made me realise what I can achieve when I put my mind to it. My weight isn't changing but who cares I'm so much more fitter and all round happier than I was xxxxx
Keep going you lovely lot, we can all do this, we are all amazing after all we all decided to do this and that is more than those still on the couch.
