So pleased I forced myself out of bed at 5.15 this morning, I was so down yesterday, today I am floating. I did it and I even managed to pick up my pace for the last 60 seconds like Laura said. It makes a big difference having her, I've never been able to get her on my phone before so it was a good change having someone talk to you. The music is dire but I can live with it...... What a difference proper running trainers & running leggings make, I've been doing it in a pair of men's swim shorts and my hiking shoes up till this morning, I felt lighter than air running around. So so so pleased really did think I would struggle with this one but slow and steady, and not setting off too fast they'll not wipe this smile from my face all day..... Wooooohooooo I'm officially a runner Laura said so and that's good enough for me ππ
It's official I'm a runner week 7 here I come - Couch to 5K

Whoo hoo! Go you! Yes proper shoes and leggings make a big difference! Onto week 8 and Julie....

Well done you - and when you've done 25 minutes once, you can do it again (x3!), no problem!

5.15 blimey that's dedication but how amazing does it feel when you achieve it! I think you will enjoy week 7. Hope the happy endorphins keep you going all day.

Feels great, doesn't it? I did W6R3 yesterday, too, so we're both at the same stage - even down to first time wearing proper leggings (but not the time you got up - very impressed by that)
I wouldn't be too impressed, if I don't get up at that time I don't get to run unfortunately, I have to get a 15yr boy, 6 yr girl & 3yr girl up, dressed and breakfasted &out the door by 7am. Drop them all off then to work full time, next week when hubs on a different shift I don't have to get up till 6.15 for my run and get a lay in till 7 if no run. Oh the joys of been a parent, I could do it on an evening after work but I'm just too tired after work so go early doors before I can talk myself out of it π«

Fantastic! I'm glad you have proper running shoes, they make all the difference as you now know! The last few weeks fly by, it'll be your graduation run before you know it!

Well done, Wkdjojo . That's great progress. And I am glad to read that you are now properly kitted out, I can't imagine being able to run in hiking boots!! Yep, we are now runners :), Laura says so.

thanks guys am totally pooped at work but still buzzing x
