Out at about 6.50 this morning for run 2 after a weeks rest covered 3.73 km in the time but more importantly managed the two 8 minute runs without too much drama nearly there will leave for another week if I can manage a full 20 minutes I will be more than happy.

Glad to hear you are progressing again. Would any of us have believed a few months ago that we would have missed running - I dread being landed on the IC.

Thanks it is amazing how habit forming it becomes but also how easy small set backs can throw you out of rhythm

Gosh, I hadn't realised you were still rehabbing. Glad to hear it finally seems to be going in the right direction.

If I can last 20 minutes next week will then try and get back into some sort of consistency

Fingers crossed. I've not run at all since my last run (the swim week). Overdid swimming and stretching but learnt some lessons. We're away Monday to Friday so I'll pick it up again next week-end. I'm actually champing at the bit but want to make sure I'm properly ok (I aggravated my old back issues). Good luck with the rest of the rehabbing.

Same to you at the moment we are like children who have been prevented from going out until our behaviour improves

Well done. I've managed 15 minutes now and am thinking similarly to you, if I can get back to 20 minutes and slowly build from there I'll feel like I'm back running properly again. Keep it up, we're doing well. :)
