Smoooooth!

In a bid to aid calf rehab - and alleviate the longing to run - I dragged out my abandoned rebounder (bought when I was many stone heavier) and fell in love with it again. After 20 mins alternating between gentle and more brisk stepping I decided to bounce with all I had for the duration of Smooth by Santana. I was already gently glowing but by the end I was breathless and - there's no other word for it - sweaty. AND my activity tracker recorded that 5 minutes as a run. Result!

I have also started doing the runners stretches. Only two days but oh my! Now I understand why I got injured in the first place... and as a Brucey bonus I woke up this morning with no stiffness or pain in my right hand, for the first time in years (all I have to do now is work out the difference that made the difference).

On Monday I might try a feedback run.

Happy running, peeps. Stay safe.

Sounds fun, but don't bounce too high! Seriously, have lost track of the numbers of kids who have had bad trampoline injuries. Love that song.It is on my new playlist three.😎

Now I only behave like that when alone in the house. But then........Regressing to teenage behaviour. Oh dear. But who cares?!

I was alone in the house and their teenager makes far more noise than me!

You could try using week 2 or week 3 as interval training as that gives you the opportunity to bail out if it starts hurting to much
