I’m a runner! I did it!!

Well, who would have thought it! Nannie Elaine did the C25K! Was expecting rain but it stayed dry. Quite an easy route as no real uphill sections. Tia was an angel, just trotted along by my side. In these uncertain times, this programme and all you lovely people on here have made a tremendous difference.

Now need to build on this and be ready to do my first Park run when they re-open!

Well Done!! Huge congratulations and wishing you lots of luck with progressing your running. My dog and I also finished our last run C25K this morning :)

Fantastic!! Well done!!!

Fantastic! 🎖Congratulations to you and Tia completing your C25k.🎉

Wouldn't it be lovely if Tia could get her own 'graduate' badge? I am sure there would be a lot of dogs who would qualify for one 🌟🐾🐶😊 having run C25k with their owners. Unfortunately my dog dug her paws in during week 2 and that is as far as she got🙄!

Well done and enjoy celebrating!

Thank you DD, Tia is just 3 so still full of beans, in the early weeks when I was running further each week she seemed to know when we got to the last turning point and would sit down, but she is a bit of a wus and as soon as I got about 50 feet in front (I mainly run in the forest so no cars!) she would come running up to me. Lately I’ve been going to the same furthest point but doing a few detours on side paths so she just stayed by my side, she is soooo good x

My poor dog only comes with me rarely! I shouldn't be so mean!

It does slow you down a bit as they invariably need to sniff something or ‘talk’ to other dogs but on balance I think she has helped me, especially in these strange times x

Woop woop! Congratulations 🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏🥂🍾🏆

You're right, it's such a joy in such uncertain times. I find running doesn't reset the world, but it does reset my brain.

Consolidate for a few weeks while thinking about what to do next. I've decided that, when all this is over, I'm going to celebrate by finally joining a parkrun

That's great Phdgranny and Tia too, she deserves a graduation medal too😁. I can't wait to get back to running and finish the programme ... Patience is the word here 😬
