I was worried last week and posted about this run. After reading the advice I went for it today and am really, really pleased that I completed it. My ankles of all things felt heavy in the first couple of minutes, but I ignored that and carried on. I was pleased to get the updates from Michael Johnson in the app as I plodded along. I was breathing hard by the end and was very pleased when he told me to slow down to walking and I got all wobbly legged but half an hour later I am on top of the world. I have never in my whole life run for that length of time. I managed 3.7km, so by the time I take out the two 5 minute walks, I reckon that is about 3.2km in 20 minutes. I am very pleased with myself and can hardly believe I have come this far.
Thanks for all the supportive messages in the last couple of days - I really think they made the difference between repeating a week or actually going for it.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Brilliant. Well done to you as that's the biggie in the programme and the one that is mentally the hardest IMO. But finishing it makes you feel epic so enjoy the feeling 💪💪💪
I am sure you can. I was in your shoes only one week ago and was really fearful but now I feel like Arnie in Conan or Aragorn in The Two Towers chasing the Uruk-Hai !! At least in my mind!
I bet you can. Lots of good advice around here. Best advice I had was just to believe in myself after all the hard work leading up to this point. It was difficult, but I was ready and I am sure you are too. Good luck!
