Well done Beelady! I feel your surprise! Week 7 onwards, no rest walks😖. However, did w7r1 today and guess what...I've lived to tell the tale😊. You can do it - annoyingly the program gets it right!!! If I let everything in life was as reliable 😂

Thanks Jingle Berry. Just assumed we were going along the same routine but I guess it need to step up again sometime. Good to know that you've managed it as I'm sure I will with a bit of determination. Did you have a couple of rest days betwwen your last run and this one? I'm just thinking that up until now I've been doing a days rest between first two runs and then two days rest before the long one ...wondering how that will pan out now i.e. will I be able to walk let alone run after 2 x 25mins in three days??

I only had one rest day between the runs. I have found throughout my journey that if I take 2 rest days, I then struggle. I am sure that's only psychological, but it's the way my brain works!

I wasn't too stiff, but could feel it in my calves. Do what works for you though, we are all doing the same thing, but we are all individuals 😊

Wahay go you! The beauty of week 7 is you have already done a 25 minute run so you know you can do it! Plenty of people start popping in 2 rest days at this point. Remember, each 'week' doesn't have to be completed in a calendar week. You're going great guns, well done :)

Keep trusting the programme Bee - and I promise you in not time at all you will be trying hard not to feel 'bad' because you can't run the 5k in less than 20 minutes or something LOL :)

You really can trust in the program. I can honestly say I really, really started to enjoy it after week 6. I think it's because I finally started to feel like a runner! 😀😀

Yes, but you are a real runner now and you will be fine. Slow and steady - it's all about consolidation now!
