W5/R3 WE DID IT!!!!!

We went out even earlier today and had some cloud cover which helped. Also I ditched the cap - wet my hair with cold water and put on a sweatband and I felt much cooler. Bit of a hiccup to begin with because I had mistakenly set up week 3 podcast so we had to reconfigure everything. Eventually got going and it felt great. I think not stopping the runs suits me better and to be honest at no time during this session did I feel that I couldn't do it. Laura is right you're prepared and trust the programme. I now believe that I will complete this programme before my 65th birthday in September. I am 5' 2" and weighed 12.5 stone but have been losing weight steadily. I have type 2 diabetes and my doctor gave me my blood results yesterday and they were spot on as was my blood pressure. I still run on grass to prevent too much friction on my joints. Since doing these runs I've noticed that my lung function is much better when I'm swimming and hubby feels his is better when he's on the cross trainer. If we can do this you can just stay positive and trust the programme

Lol - I forgot to delete the tags - god knows what they will link to. Good luck for Monday you will be fine. Thinking about doing stuff is often worse than actually doing it. I could even talk and tell my husband what Laura was saying. Just prepare mentally and have some positive mantras in your head. Physically you are ready.

Ah thanks Ryansson. You lead and I will follow. I laugh now thinking back to my nervousness about stepping up to week 3 saying the leap from 90 secs to 3 minutes was too much. It's good to blog and map your progress throughout our journey
