Set the podcast for week 9 just to see how far I could go managed 5 minute walk ran for 15 and walked the rest did 4.11 km will try again on Tuesday but knee felt reasonable but didn't want to push it

Sounds like you should start around eek 3 and follow the plan. You'll be running 5k in no time

I reckon another two weeks maybe less before okay might have to drag the bike out for the moment

I do my running on a treadmill in the local leisure centre to spare my knees from too much impact. I've had knee problems for years after playing and refereeing rugby for almost 40 years but since starting the programme in April, I've had no knee problems at all. Again, works for me but probably not for everyone.
