Started c25k yesterday, I’ve tried it a couple of times before but never managed to get very far. Hopefully this time I’ll do it!

Congratulations on restarting c25k and welcome. I had tried on a few occasions to start running. This time though with determination and the lovely supportive friends here I have managed to stick at it. Slow and steady, take your rest days and post often. Onwards to run 2 🏃‍♀️

Oh well done for giving it another go, smartie! Good luck for Monday, give those legs a bit of a stretch tomorrow, that will help (there are some stretches on this site somewhere)

Well done you! You’ll love it keep pushing through it is so rewarding! With a balanced diet I’ve lost nearly a stone and my mental wellness has been amazing!

Well done! I like you have tried many times before but failed! This time it’s different, I’ve just finished week 6!

You can definitely do it. Just hang in there, take each run as it comes x

Well done on restarting. I also had a couple of false starts over a three year period but was determined to finish this time. Just finished W8R2 and can honestly say I am now loving it. I found the first three / four weeks gruelling and tiresome but am so pleased with the progress I am making - so do keep going this time. It really is worth it :)

Thanks, I’ll do my best!

Hi. I haven’t posted on here before but just wanted to say well done. I tried a couple of year ago and gave up in week 2. I have just completed run 1 of week 6 and can honestly say the first and second weeks were harder.

Stick with it and I promise it does get easier. Good luck 🏃‍♀️

Well done on re-starting - sounds like you’re ready to complete your journey x You may find some runs harder than others (I know I did) but that is ok - and you can always repeat a run or week if you feel you need to - no shame in it!

Remember tortoise and the hare, hydration, do your best and enjoy 🤗 x

Yeah I’m definitely going to take water with me next time. It was so hot & that was at 6.30am
