Just completed my first run today, when reading I had to run for 60 seconds I thought 'i get out of breath running a bath so that ain't gonna happen' but OMG i actually did it over and over again.

Feeling alive right now and looking forward to Wednesday when i do run 2.

Well done on getting through the first run! I've just finished week 6 and ran for 25 mins, but I can honestly say the hardest run was still that very first one! I thought there's no way I'll get through this, but believe me - follow the programme and miraculously you will do more and more every week and it mostly feels like you're not pushing too hard. Keep it slow - our brisk walk should apparently be faster than our run (which my head still can't accept!) and Take slow deep breaths all the time and you'll be fine.

I've found posting on here after every run has been a massive support and every one of us is amazing!

Good luck and enjoy! 😊💪👍

Sorry for you getting out of breath when you "run a bath", anyway, congratulations on running run 1 of C25K and not getting out of breath, welcome to the forum and C25K, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1

Well done.

I have attempted lesson 1 three times now, best so far was 1x 60 seconds and 2x 30 seconds. That was on my first attempt. Two times after that were even worse!

Feeling like a failure at the moment, as I can't even do lesson 1!!

Hey Darwin_s_underdog sorry to hear you’re struggling with week 1 run 1. There is no such thing as failure because you’re still achieving more than those sat on the couch. Could you possibly run even slower? My 1st runs I definitely jogged a lot slower than my brisk walk. Here if you need anything. X
