Last time I wrote on here I'd just started and 90 seconds seemed ALOT! Today I did my first run of W4 a total of 16 minutes jogging including 2 x 5 minute ones. The final 5 was hard and I did think an ambulance may be needed but I did it...amazing! This seems to be working ok for me at the moment after having never run before...hopefully that won't be famous last words...just wanted to say though how good I feel when I've done a session :-) still can't quite believe I'm running well jogging slowly but onwards and onwards ๐Ÿ˜†

NOT jogging but running :) 'Jogging' is a term invented by jealous runners who hate seeing the 'common folk' (that's us btw ;) ) ENJOY running. :)

I swear - when I Graduate I'm going to have a Tee shirt done that says 'Slow? - ME? - I'll have you know I'm faster than the guy sitting on a couch!" :)

ps - 90 seconds IS a lot. I bet that Bolt fella you have over there would say it is also if you told him he had to speak Mandarin from scratch for that length of time! We all start from a sitting postition when it comes to running - difference between us and the Couch Potatoes is, the pain of changing became less than the pain of staying the same : )

Progress NOT perfection! ;)

Thanks...I was bit confused by the while 'running' 'jogging' thing but you're right...always use 'jogging' as some kind of minimising what I've been achieving ggrrr so won't from now on...its 'running' all the way :-)

Well done I know when I started I could believe just how long 60 seconds was to run for. Trust in the programme and take it slow and steady and the progress just keeps on coming!

Great stuff beelady! Yep, you are running. And before you know it, you'll be running for longer than you dreamed possible. C25k works and it works best alongside encouragement, advice and camaraderie - and here is where you'll get that by the bucket load. Well done on your run and we're all waiting to cheer you home on your next one โ˜บ

Woo - hoo. It's a brilliant feeling, completing another session and amazing how quick the improvement can be. Onwards and upwards.

Brilliant. I'm at the same stage as you and was really proud of total 16 minutes of running too. Looking forward to starting Week 5 on Saturday...we're half way to running for half an hour!

Well done. I'm at the same stage and must admit I understand the sentiment about the ambulance! I did it though and feel so proud of myself. You should too :-D
