I went over to the field because I knew it would be empty and started off fine but the first run, I was struggling, I walked the next run, saw two young girls sitting at the edge watching me which threw me off track so I walked the 90 seconds home, did the next 60 second run in the lounge (big pile of cut grass in one spot) walked and here I am.
I couldn't finish it, but I'm not beating myself up because I went out and did 20 mins even though more walking than running.
Tomorrow's another day.

Someone wise said there are only two types of runs, successful runs and practice runs. There are no fails. Actually I think a lot of wise people have said that. Isn't it great to know you can't fail? Just practice and succeed. You're doing great. Keep at it
Good job getting out there get yourself some dark glasses so you only concentrate on what is in front of you and anyway after a while people ignore you but onward & upward
Well done on getting out there. The more you do it the less you will care about what people might be thinking. Every day is an opportunity to take another step forward. Keep going x
Well done - you did it. Maybe not quite as long as you'd planned, but definitely more than you were doing a few days ago! Yes, it's more walking than running in the early days - that's not an accident, it's just giving your body a chance to learn what you're asking it to do, and to build up strength.
