Just completed my 3rd run of week two, it went well but still wondering how I will managed to run 5mins let alone 20mins. Onto to week 3 and will see how I get on.

Well done Jen

Prepare to be amazed; this program is wonderful and it will soon have you running for 20 mins and more, believe in the program it really does work X

I wrote a very similar post about 2 months ago... Before you know it you won't quite believe it but you'll be running for 30 minutes too. You can do it!

Thank you for this just seems so far off but nice to know you were thinking the same thing at my stage.

It does right now but it'll fly by! We have all felt that way at one point. As Slinky says - trust in the programme!

Don't think about it! Concentrate on conquering the current week (stage). I started in March after being off work for 12 weeks and have plodded through the stages (with another couple of weeks not running due to sickness) and today ran 28 mins. Always doubted that 'anyone can do it' as I have tried before but this time have gone at my own pace and am surprising myself. Just keep going - one stage at a time.

Hi jen - I've just completed week 3 which is 2 x 3 minute runs. Impossible I thought but I only went and did it 3 times. Know how you feel - the next week always looks so daunting 😟 but we seem to do it. Good luck x

You will do it if you stick to the programme- we all thought the same on week 1, struggling with 60 seconds of slow plod, I can't believe I can now at the end of week 8 run (slowly!) 4K with no breaks- somehow it works, just trust it :-). Good luck!

I was in agony after every run at week 2 and had to repeat everything twice but I just ran for 5 minutes continuously on week 4 this morning and it felt good. This program really works - you will do it too. 😀

Hi Jen - I must admit to thinking like that at the end of week 2 but with the help of Laura and taking it easy i managed it all the way to week 9 didn't ever manage the 5k but definitely the 30 minutes during the last week.

My advice is take it nice and slow and i am sure you will be fine.
