Rest until recovered!

Just hang in there until you feel it is ready to run... remember slow progress, even at this stage, is better than no progress.

Big hug x

I think that I've just something a bit daft. My ankle was feeling OK ish, not great but not bad, so I walked down the drive, jogged very gently to the cricket field and decided to try 10 mins on the grass. Anyway 30 mins later I think I've just done my graduation run...around and around the cricket field!!! Walked back up the 1 in4 drive, now stretching, shower, ice ibuprofen and breakfast. I think I must be mad ...

We hear so many folks pulling up with niggly knees and ankles in week 9. I sometimes wonder if it's anxiety making us tense up. That's my theory for what it's worth and I'm no expert.

If it's dodgy then you can have to get busy with the ice and elevation. Rest for a couple of days, whilst doing the ice and elevation thing. Ice is marvellous at reducing inflammation!

I hope it will ease off and you can finish the job! Fingers crossed

Oh I think our posts crossed paths!

So, you did it? Sounds very much like it. Well done. Congratulations

Ibufren takes quite a while to kick in as far as inflammation is concerned. You have to take quite a bit of it according to my GP when I hurt my leg. I like Epsom Salts baths. Whatever floats your boat, just take care and hopefully you'll be fine in a few days

Congratulations graduate! I hope you haven't done my damage. You can afford to take things a bit more gently now if necessary.
