I have moved on and completed my first run for week 2 this morning. Am sooo pleased with myself ! Found a new route which is a bit more level surface so less strain on my ankles and have discovered that mown grass is quite a cushioned surface to run on. Wish my feet didn't hurt so much though. Just watching the British astronaut running on tv to Laura's music - bet I don't look like that when I run though! Do you think he is in c25k😀😀
Week2 Run1 completed!: I have moved on and... - Couch to 5K

Haha! I thought that too! Well done on the run and yes grass is a softer surface for the joints. Where do your feet hurt? Is it the soles?
Difficult to describe my foot pain. It's when I put my feet down but the pain feels like it goes through my foot. It's only when I wear flat shoes or bare feet. I'm fine in heels. My hubbie thinks I should try running in heels 🙄

Hope upu grt foot pain sprted soon Maybe a podiatrist csn suggest something? I know you can special supportive insoles made that you use inside shoes. Good to run on grass, its much kinder to feet and knees.

I would like to say I run like a graceful gazelle......but i probably resemble a stomping hippo.......lol!!! 🤣🤣
Regarding your foot pain.....consider investing in proper running shoes.....it made a difference to the "arch pain" I experienced in Week 1.
I found W2R1 a tough one.....let's see how I get on tomorrow......gulp!!!
You're doing fab......well done!!!! 👍
