Wk5 run3 and enjoyed it.

I ran non stop for 20 minutes -I keep saying it to myself so it will sink in. Can't believe how far I've come in a few weeks and I felt really comfortable running. Not fast but steady pace and after the first 10 minutes I felt like I relaxed a bit knowing I would make it and I started to really enjoy running. Upped my speed a little for the last few minutes and felt like a real runner. I had the biggest grin on my very red face at the end. Can't wait to do another run like that but see that it's back to run and walk intervals again now. Not sure why. Any body know the reason? Glad I treated myself to some running tights with little pocket at the back because I think I will def be keeping up this running now!

Well done dddd4, I am doing the run Friday😁

Hope I feel the same, and complete like you!

Not sure why it goes back, I wondered that myself.

Good luck with week 6 😀

Good luck with your run. I took it slow and that helped me feel in control. I tried to think of other things rather than how long I had run for but that was hard. Once I got to ten minutes I knew I could do it and then I stopped worrying about the time and got into a rhythm and ran to the beat of Laura's music -she knows a thing or two! Hope all goes well I will look out for your post.

Well done it's quite emotional doing the whole 20 minutes isn't it? 👍🏻

Well done x

It's a good one that one; really makes us start to believe in ourselves and instill some confidence that yes we can and will do this!!

Brilliant, well done! I'm doing w5 r3 tomorrow and I'm a bit apprehensive but determined to do it. Good tip about thinking about other things, I'm going to do it before work and run through the things I need to get done in my head, oh and thinking and visualizing breakfast is always good. Xx

Well done ! This run is a biggie , a real turning point .

Week 6 can be a bit tricky . I think it's a mix of stamina and a mental challenge too . It is perfectly do-able though :-)

Keep going, you're doing great ! :-) xxx

Well done - watch out for the return to intervals. Lots of people find it tough!

Fabulous.

Well done! I did wk5 run1 this morning. Found it quite tough and my knees are aching a bit now. The middle run always seems to be the hardest, the last 5 mins was mentally challenging, but didn't seem so hard on my legs. Very pleased to have completed it, but think the next two are really going to test me. Going to give it my best shot tho. No pain, no gain!

Good luck! I kept it nice and slow which I think really helped. If you can do run 1 you can do run 2. If it feels too much of a challenge just repeat it but I am sure you will do fine just nice not to put the pressure on yourself
