Wk5 run3: loved it, smashed it!

19mins @ 8km/h with a 9km/h last minute!

I had the prerun dread on this one. I hid the clock on the treadmill so i wouldnt psych myself out with time. I should have done this long ago. I just went to an awesome place with my music on and really started enjoying it. Halfway i was still feeling strong then the last minite came really quickly and i still felt good so i gave it a little extra at the finish.

So proud of myself today! 20mins! Yeah!

  • Something i really struggled with in the earlier weeks was running slower with my goofy long legs it just didnt work. Faster was easier and hurt my ankles less but wholely unsustainable.

    Shortening my stride a bit on slower speeds has really helped me power through and feel great through a run.
