Week 5 Run 1

Out again this morning at 430am to start week 5. Really thought I might struggle with the 3x 5minute runs but to be honest the first 2 went OK and near the last minute of the third I was puffing a bit more.

I can not seem to be able to breathe in through the nose and out the mouth. Its a mixture of nose and mouth to breathe in. Might get better with practice.

Recovery after each run seemed to be done well within the 3 minutes. Looking forward to he challenges of this week and next with the longer runs.

Just breathe..., any way that suits you... that is the main thing :)

Well done you :)

Well done. Yes I haven't perfected that technique Laura advocates but breathing seems fine my way. Just like Oldfloss says just breathe your way!

Wow I thought my 5.30 starts were early!

I'm on w5r2 tomorrow - I'm still struggling with breathing but is slowly improving.

Good luck this week 😀

Been getting up at that time for nearly 30 years so its my now natural awaking time. Its the same all year round including all Bank Holidays and weekends.

It is rather pleasant in the Summer just to sit outside eating breakfast listening to the countryside waking up.

My Run 2 will be tomorrow as well.
