Week 5 Run 1

Ooh yes! Week 5 here I am! Ran this morning on a different day and a different time. I can get too entrenched in routines, so I shook it up a bit. Michael was with me every step of the way! (He is just so encouraging, it’s like he knows me! 😂) Managed the 3 x 5 minute runs without incident, although I don’t think I had much spare to give at the end of the run. All in all pretty pleased to be on Week 5 and so proud of myself that I ran a total of 15 minutes this morning!

Awesome Jools and that’s exactly how I felt - didn’t feel I had anymore to give... but then I did R2 and R3 and you will do it too!

Fab start to your weekend 🏃🏽‍♀️👏👏

Enjoy your achievement x

Yes, I remember your post, so perhaps it’s normal to feel that way! Thank you!

I did that run this morning too! I also took new different route which started by walking up a huge hill so I was tired before I started my 1st run 🙈 but I managed it and can't believe how much my fitness has improved.

Scared but also excited for what's ahead. Didn't think I'd be capable of getting this far, so it's time for our minds to believe our bodies can do it.

Well done xxx

You are so right! I don’t know anything about hills, where I live it’s completely flat 😀. Well done for negotiating your hill, sounds like a nightmare to me!

Thank you! I am still amazed that I did it! As I started the last run I knew I could do it, But had to slow down a tad nearer the end.

Great stuff Jools. Knew you could do it. I found run 2 of Week 5 easier then run 1, so don’t worry about the two 8 minutes. Well done!
