I'm back!

Ok so I hadn't actually gone anywhere, but I've been drowning in work and wasn't able to run or do any other kind of exercise (or even be active on here, sorry) for the past 10 days. But I went today and it felt good to run. Well, not entirely. The first 15 minutes of the run were wonderful, I thought to myself "I should take breaks occasionally and run because I WANT to, not because of a schedule" (while staying active otherwise, of course). But then I got the dreaded stitch (my first since W4!) and my hips starting aching as though I was a 100-years-old. I still went on and ran the entire 30 minutes, though. So it turns out I SHOULD run because of a schedule and "breaks" should be 2 rest days at the most, not 10. But I'm back. And hopefully I can stick to my routine for a good long while.

Hey Shivani05 good too see you back , the old saying any run is better than no run applies ☺

Not every run has to be a set time or distance or even a set day, life is life sometimes it is more demanding, hopefully as you say you can settle into a routine again .

The main thing is to still enjoy your running no matter when or how far.

Yep, life can be very demanding , what with working and all the other stuff, but it really is so good to get out there when we can .

We have to learn to fit it all in and you've proved that you can. A 10 day break in the whole scheme of things is just a wee 'blip'. It's great that you found time to run again, well done xx
