Back from my hols and back to my jogging!

I did intend to do jogging while I was a way, but where we were staying was like a rabbit warren, and me having absolutely no sense of direction would have been lost in no time. So no jogging while I was away. Had a nice time though, got a cold in the second week and am still trying to shake it off now. It was lovely to feel warm sunshine though. :-)

AnywayI was going to go jogging Monday, but out flight was delayed and so was out luggage so we didn't get home until 3am Monday morning and there was noway I get dragging myself out of bed So long story short I went the morning. I only did 20 minutes but was quite pleased with that. I seemed to be going like the wind for the first 10 minutes and my fetl just wouldn't slow down. Second half was a bit different though (hahaha) I got gradually slower and was very happy when Laura told me I had just completed 20 minutes. I had to chuckled when she continued with "I bet you didn't think you could run for 20 minutes a few weeks ago" NO I was running for 30 minutes a few weeks ago (hahaha).

So I am back at it now, I have definitely missed not doing it for two weeks. I will do the 20 minute runs for a few times then add minutes on.

Nice to be back. Happy jogging all. :-)

Heartened by your post.

A mix of lots of work, bad cold and now chest infection means I haven't 'run' in over a week. Actually about 10 days now. I have a lovely holiday coming up and reckon between the heat and general planning to eat wonderful Italian food and a wee drop of red wine I probably will become a lapsed C25k graduate/person.

Good to know that I should be able to pick it up again. Slowly, but I should be able to remember that it's all possible. Thanks.

Oh dear I hope you are feeling better soon. My Mother-in-law got a chest infection while we were away, she still suffering with it.

I hope you enjoy your trip to Italy. If you want to jog while away take you running gear and try going early in the morning before it gets too hot. That was my plan but it didn't quite work out that way (haha). I gained just under 3lbs while away, but hopefully that will soon shift. I was happy with my run this morning even though it was hard to get myself going, now I can't wait to go again. :-)

Take care and feel better soon.

Sounds like a well needed break, and as you've already established you are soon back into it. Happy running :)
