Back on it after 11 days off

having been floored with bronchitis and steroids for asthma I was dreading starting out again today. Had been doing well and had got up to 28 mins. Managed 20 mins today so not too bad considering the break I have had. Felt quite light headed but determined to crack on.

I've been the same. Take your time and don't push too hard. Steroids take a week to get out of your system after finishing the course, so take a couple of extra days rest if you feel you need it - running until you feel light headed doesn't sound good.

Well done. You've given me the courage to try again. If you can persevere after Steroids and bronchitis!!

Did the W2R2 last Thursday and all OK, then went on long weekend away which required 3 full days walking and needed pain killers all Saturday for my back. Long time since I've needed topping up with pain killers as well as initial dose. Decided to a) stop or b) give it a rest until better. Today was my deciding day. Back much better and going to try this evening repeating week 2. As many on here have said its the getting there not the speed of arrival. Thanks

Well done you for getting back out there.  Hopefully you'll continue to feel better.

My first run back was ok but could only manage 20 mins, but the pain in my legs after ! Restless achy legs all night, it was awful. After a rest day felt much better and am well and truly back on it ready to graduate next week
