I was working outside all day today and got thoroughly soaked with all of the rain we are having.
I was convinced this run would be a wet one too. Anyway I took a waterproof jacket in a small rucksack and set off.
Luckily the rain held off for the run and the annoying pain I have been feeling in my groin didn't occur on this run.......yeah 😀
I did the same distance as W8 R1 approximately 5.6k (including warm up and cool down walks) and my best k was ran in 6'13'.
Im really pleased with the progress so far and I think for my graduation run I'm not going to log the warm up and cool down walks and just try and run for a true 5k.
Bring on W8 R3 I say 😀

Great progress Bob. I did my first 5k in 43 minutes when I graduated and that was a nice slow and steady plod but I did it. Even a 30 minute run, no matter what the distance is enough to pass the test and a significant achievement though, avoid injury at all cost. Julie
Well done - great pace too! I managed Week 8 run 2 today , so we will both be graduating soon. Fantastic programme, I never thought I would be able to run for 30 minutes non-stop!
