Week 8 Run 2

Had a lovely run this morning and managed to cover 6.39 km in the 38 minutes, including the warm up and cool down walks. I'm really feeling positive that I shall, before too long, reach graduation.

Celebrated by cooking (and eating) a full Sunday lunch - roast beef and all the trimmings, followed by home made profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce. My 25 year old nephew joined us for lunch and was really impressed with his 52 year old sickly aunts progress. He was visiting me to see how I was coping with the cancer treatment, so was very surprised at all I'm doing to keep fit. I felt quite proud of myself.

Yum yum I love a Sunday roast 😋. Good fuel for the longer runs! You're doing brilliantly.

Thanks Irishprincess.

Well done ! I can understand your nephew being impressed. I'm sure we all are.

I had good run this morning consolidating my 6K+ and 40 minutes+ . 42 minutes today

No sunshine but not too bad the early morning temperature was not as bad as last week and no wind chill.

Liked the celebration. I had full Sunday lunch but no profiteroles . Being a good boy. Got to save room for all those mince pies that I will eat over Xmas !!

Razouski you are now making me feel very hungry. I love Sunday roasts, and home made profs too! Mmm sounds as though you have had a great day! You're absolutely right, you should be feeling proud of yourself! Great effort on the cooking front as well as the running front! 👌🏻😊👏🏻🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻Can't find a chef's hat emoji, just imagine one instead! x
