Week 3 over- with a couple of issues!

Week 3 Run 3 this evening was a strange one. I had a stitch half way through, it rained on me and on the last three minutes I ended up slogging uphill! Still managed it though, and was really pleased! However, I've just looked forward on the app to Sunday's run- Week 4 Run 1. Much more running involved! We shall see...Good luck to everyone on the plan!

Tomorrow (snow permitting) I will do run 3 of week 4 I first thought I wouldnt be able to do it as it is a lot more running but With the support of the couch 2 5k community I have managed to nearly complete week 4 so nearly half way through.

Everyone says take it slow but don't give up and I have to agree.

do it on a treadmill and don't look ahead I am on week 6- I think if I looked ahead I would have given up- good luck- you can do anything you put your mind too :-)

Don't panic if you look ahead. The program gets your body used to a little bit more (sometimes a big bit!) every week and it's just enough so that you can do it and are ready for it. So you can do it and you're ready for it!

Good luck! And running in snow can be fun as well, if it's not icy.

I did my first week 4 run last night and like you was a bit daunted by all the running it was going to involve. In the end it was fine. I took the first two runs at a steady pace and was well chuffed I managed to run 5 minutes non stop! The recovery time was enough too, which I was also worried about. The second two runs were really enjoyable and I think I could have gone on a bit further. It's quite amazing looking back to run 1 of week 1 when a 60 second run was almost beyond me. Take your time and you will be fine.
