So today I completed week 3, really proud of that but looking forward to week 4 not looking so easy, I was still suffering with pain in my legs this morning and have made an appointment to see the doctor regarding my shin splints, I am fairly certain it is an issue with Biomechanics, but kind of hoping that it is just the fact I am new runner and carrying a bit of excess weight, would be absolutely gutted if this kept me from running for a prolonged period of time.
I' m certainly not running fast as Map my run will attest to, and can't afford the Gait, running shoes etc.. at the moment, I keep researching on the internet and continue to do strengthening exercises of the shins in hope this will ease the problem.
Maybe I should take 2 days rest instead of the usual 1?
Hoping for a solution quickly...
