I did it!!!

I did it!!!

Not a big poster but have completed the 9 weeks today! I put a pair of trainers on the 4th of January and have got up every second day thru rain, gale force winds, snow, ice and occasionally dry sunny days! I'm hoping to do my first parkrun on Saturday. I think I might actually like running! Lots more weight to lose & a tortoise rather than a hare but we can all do it!

Amazing! I'm terrified of the parkrun but I've come this far!! I actually don't care if I come last - it'll still be my pb!

I hope so! I'm running in Scotland so not sure how many "summer" days I'll get 😂

The gales and rain are a big put off for me so well done.

Congratulations - another runner sent off into the big wide world after doing this programme👍 Enjoy going solo. What are your plans (apart from park run)?

I'm about a week behind you and looking forward to the next 3 runs.

You must be determined if you ran every other day for the whole programme - sometimes I need an extra rest day (or something else gets in the way).

See you around!😈

I'm just going to try and stick to three 30 min runs a week for the moment. Might try the c25k + podcasts. I'm going to try and find some different routes as well -slightly bored of the two routes I do at the moment!

Well done fatcj. Its no mean feat keeping going through our winter weather especially when its lovely and warm in bed!!!

Just to enjoy my running really. Going to try and stick to 3 runs a week. A friend has mentioned doing the race for life together so might do that. Might try the c25k+ podcasts.

Congratulations!!!! I don't think I'm parkrun material yet (I'm week 8) as I think all the marshals would go home before I finish....but one day maybe!!

I just knew that if I didn't do it every second day I'd find excuses and wouldn't do it. Turns out I'm quite determined when I put my mind to something 😀
