I suspect we were all feeling the same for W5R3, I spent the whole 20 minutes wondering how I was going to cope when my body was screaming at me to stop, found I had completed the 20 minutes before it did though. It's a good feeling getting past that one. Take W6R1 slowly though, it has caught some out.
We all thought it was way too much for us but when we just slowed down and kept going, it was possible! Well done, a running victory! Week 6 is a bit challenging but again totally achievable! Go for it and thanks for sharing with us, love to hear about running wins! Julie
Well done you . That's great to read you did it. This is my run for this evening.... very worried about the 20 min step up. However, reading your post as ever so slightly calmed me
You can definitely do it. You've sort of done it already, just with a few slow bits. As everyone else has said, just take it slow and before you know it Laura's telling you there's just 60 seconds to go - and you KNOW you can do 60 seconds!
I did my first 20 minute run yesterday too - couldn't believe that I had actually done it!! Slow pace, but I kept moving and to me that is the most important thing! Onwards and upwards for us all!!
I couldn't believe it either! I gave myself a little pat on my back - literally! Luckily it was only just 6am so there was no-one around to see me, but I was beaming like a cheshire cat.
