Hope everyone is well! I went out for the usual plod around and about this evening. I didn't think I was going to anything major but low and behold I ran a little further and a little faster than before. I have finally broken into the 7's per km which was my first goal of the solo running so glad I did that tonight. I still have a long way to go but it felt good, really good. I think I'm an overpronator on my left foot so I've had a bit of a painful calf but I think that's what it is!
Also I have a new Tomtom watch so although I used it tonight, I haven't worked out how to download the information so will work it out and hopefully start using that rather than runkeeper. It seemed easy to use so all good so far. I even ended up reading the instructions, well my son did because I couldn't work out how to turn it off!!!!
So that's that for now. Next run will be Saturday and then hopefully Monday morning I'm off for gait analysis and new shoes!

Well done - you are doing so well! Great to see folk enjoying their running post- graduation! Hope the gait analysis goes well. I overpronate and finding the right shoes can make a real difference. I am an Asics Gel Kayano girl myself! Whatever you settle on, don't forget to show off your new shoes here!🙂
Hehe thanks oldfloss! I'm loving it. I've been fat and unfit for most of my life but after the breast cancer, I've reevaluated and now I know it's all about health as well as fitness.
I think you do rather well too though!!!! I've been saving my pennies up so I could get some new bits!!!! Hehe!
