Hope you all had a lovely weekend, what with the milder weather and all.. Well well well, week 8 is upon me already. That has been a fast couple of months, seem to have simply jogged by lol. My journey as a student will soon come to an end, and then the well earned graduation badge!
I didn't approach the run in my normal manner, instead today I took my time, regulated my pace and stuck with it all the way through. I must admit I did enjoy it a lot more, wasn't feeling so drained towards the end. Looking forward to Wednesday
Forgot to turn my app on today, so have missed the first 5 mins, warm up walk only, so stats not 100% correct.

It is so much nicer running when temperatures are above zero. I think it is better to take your time and enjoy it. When you've graduated, you could look at doing the speed podcast once a week since you might be a naturally fast runner that might suit you.
Yes it certainly is. With the only the normal outfit you weigh less, and also don't get overheated so quickly.
I did enjoy it a lot more, legs felt strange for the first 5 mins and once again auto pilot took over. I will look into the speed podcast and also concentrate in a slower more relaxed pace.
Well done Saul. The change in temperature is certainly welcome isn't it but it's the wet stuff that comes with it that's the problem. Good luck for Wednesday. You are almost there.
Well done on completing your first run on week 8. Could you tell me how you get your running stats, I do not have iPhone only android but would love to know how far I have ran. I have also just completed week 8 run 1.
Thank you. Well done on the run, how did it go? I personally use Map my run, play.google.com/store/apps/... , it's free, pretty straight forward, and works well.
Are you listening to the podcasts or the C25K app ? I've just found out about the app and since last week have been using this as it allows you to use your own playlist, which for me is a god send.
