Had to sort out a crisis at work today and work late. Given that I won't have chance to run again until Monday, am I better carrying on with my two remaining week 3 runs as normal or should I just restart week 3 due to the longer break between runs?

There's no harm in just doing the whole of the week again so you remain in your normal running pattern.

See how it feels You still need to do wk3 twice more and if you manage them OK you can move on. Its building up stamina rather than sticking to each week rigidly, you may need to repeat some runs more than three times if they trouble you and there's no harm in that either. You are doing brilliantly, keep up the good work.

Carry on and do W3R2 and 3
The 'week' thing is something of a misnomer and does tend to cause problems. It is best merely thought of as a 'set of three runs, not run on consecutive days' rather than anything related to a calendar week.

I wouldn't repeat days unless you really have to due to injury, fatigue or life, it slows down your progress and you need to get past week 5 to really start enjoying jogging, ☺☺

Life gets in the way- it happens a lot. Personally, I'd just play it by ear. Try your w3 run and if you manage it that's great, if you don't that's fine too, just do a w2 run instead. Every run you do is doing you good and building your strength, even if you end up having to repeat it because you don't manage to get through it exactly how Laura says. Good luck

I would just carry on, you won't have lost any fitness from having a slightly longer break between runs. I took quite a while to finish the programme because I was only running twice a week at that stage, it was fine! xx
