Week one done!

So I've completed week one, yipee! I found it so much easier today and was shocked when it was time to walk again as I felt I could run more (I didn't though, sticking to the plan!).

I was just wondering the distance everyone was covering at this stage, I did 2.2miles, is this a good base?

Thanks

Don't worry about distance or speed - just do the time and you will be fine!

I've no idea sorry because I didn't track it at all. Was just glad to somehow get through to the end. Doesn't matter at this stage I don't think

Snap! Finished week one today too. Feels good doesn't it? :)

Feels so good! I might go out tonight and do run 3 again, before moving on to week 2!

I didn't track my distance until after I had graduated. Like others have said, it doesn't matter, its the time you spend running that's important. I was just glad (and amazed!) that I finished the first week! Well done, keep going!

2.2 miles means you were running quite fast during your running phases and probably walking fast too. I was still doing about that on W7 on a 25 minute run!!

Does sound quite quick, normal walking pace 3miles takes me around 60 mins. With only a few short run sections you have halved that time!!

I didn't take any notice of my distances either - to busy concentrating on the time!

well done getting started, onwards to week 2............
