Week 4 run 1 success

I have just done w4r1 and am so chuffed I need to share it! I was really daunted by the prospect, being a complete running newbie, and fairly overweight but I loved every minute. Following this programme has been such an eye opener for me, I trust it to get me to 5k which is amazing when I could not run 30 seconds 6 months ago. Thanks for letting me share on here, nobody in real life quite gets it, and I don't want to bore their socks off!

OMG I'm so happy for you because I too am a complete running novice and I'm loving it too! I am starting wk 5 tomorrow and whilst terrified, I trust Laura to get me through!

Onward and upward and nobody is EVER bored of sharing success with you! I did cry on wk 4 r1 so totally get you!!!! Haha!

Thanks Elsie! I was so elated after the first 5 minute run I shouted "woo-hoo" , whilst some dog walkers come round the corner in the dark wood I was running through! Don't care, to happy to be embarrassed!
