Hi All,

I made it through the first week and feel great! My back was quite sore this morning but once I got up and going it improved. I am doing some treadmill and some pavement and I find running outside much easier and it's easier on my back! Not sure I'm looking forward to week 2 but I shall begin monday! Feeling inspired after reading some of the posts on here!

Well done, the toughest week is now behind you. Each new week can feel a little intimidating, but you've trained for it with the previous week's runs and you'll be just fine.

Well done! You'll be fine. Just do what Laura says, take it nice and slow and steady, honour your rest days and stretch out after your runs. You won't regret it!

Well done Elsie. You might find that working on your posture and making an effort to stand tall as you run will help with the back ache. Good luck :)

Well done Elsie! Other members have said it all really, but if backache keeps up maybe look into the support of your running shoes, try the other advice first.

Hurray for you!! You've done the hardest bit: getting started! As one of our lovely community said to me: just keep putting one foot in front of the other and it works!
