Completed week 9 :)

Very pleased with myself - just completed week 9. Took a while as I repeated a couple of the weeks when I was ill etc but considering what I was like when I started on week 1 and couldn't even manage to run 1 minute, now I can run 30 minutes - amazing! Just wondering what is next, is there a follow up to 0 to 5K - does anyone know?

Well done! I continued to run the 30 mins for a number of weeks after graduation. I've recently looked at the 10K programme which I don't think I'll get through completely but it's a nice alternative to running for 30 mins occasionally.

That's a good idea. I might continue to run 30 mins x 3 a week until Christmas and then embark on a new regime in New Year - unless I get really bored over the next few weeks, in which case, I might try either the 10K or c25k+ - not sure which. Thanks for the support x

Well done! What an achievement! If, like me, you are nowhere near 5k yet, you can go back to Laura and do the c25k+ podcasts. I've only tried the stepping stones one yet which aims to speed you up over 30 minutes. Good luck and just enjoy your running. X

Well done. The programme works, but you've earned this, too.

Well done! Doesn't it feel great? :D As for the next stage, you need to set yourself a goal if you are motivated by results, but how you get there is up to you. There are 10k programmes around, but I shied away from them and enjoyed just running for the pleasure, 3 times a week, aiming for 5K each time, then aimed to bring my time down to below 30 minutes. Several months later I've got that done, so I'm trying to do one longer run per week and start including some hill running in there, with an ultimate goal of being able to do a 10 k in less than an hour before a run for charity in June. It's a long way off, it's modest, but it's a goal, and it's enough to keep me on track.

Well done! Congratulations on Graduating! I would deffo do the Stepping Stones podcasts now. You can run them randomly and they will help you move your running on. Start thinking about making a start from 5 to 10 k. It's a lovely feeling to run your first 6 k and then the next week it could be 7. Just take care as you move up. No hurry to get to the next stage. Just take your time, run nice and steady as you don't want any injuries. It's so easy to do too much and get hurt

It's interesting that your runs can and do get longer. You'll amaze yourself!

Have fun!
