Ran W1R1 on 1st January, ran W9R3 this morning - feeling so satisfied I might almost be accused of being smug!
Highlights:
Week 1 run 1 - actually got out of bed to do it
Week 5 run 3 - ran for 20 minutes, that's a first!
Week 9 - turned out easier than I expected
Lowlights:
Week 3 run 1 - the first 3 min run was a killer (but look at me now!)
Week 8 - frustrating - took 3 weeks, what with calf injuries
Top tips:
Read the FAQ,
Go slower, especially at the start of each run,
Drink more water,
Stretches before and after each run,
Keep reading the FAQ (there'll be things you missed!)
Next step:
Reach 5 km (currently 4.3 km) and do it in 30 min.
