Relief - did week 4 run 1 OK

Did four runs in Week 3 just in case, and I wasn't at all sure how I was going to cope with the five minute jogs of Week 4. Not too bad! Achievement, gently pleased with myself, and relief that I managed it although one knee does feel a fraction more tender.

I pound around a local athletics track, and it's getting a bit boring so a new route with some variation is needed. Onwards and upwards to run 2 on Thursday.

Well done! I'm doing W4R1 on Sunday and I am already a bit nervous about it. Got W3R3 on Friday so I am hoping that feels a bit easier than the first two in week 3.

Well done, it's amazing the progress you make on the programme. New routes can make a big difference I think so maybe try that when you feel ready. Roll on run 2!

I'm doing W4R2 tonight! And I'm a bit worried! The last 5 minutes of W4R1 was hard! But I'm going to power through and you can too :D

Thanks for the encouragement, and I share your worry and your attitude to carrying on. There was no way I wasn't going to finish Wk4 Run 2 this morning - and I did it. After a shower, I was walking around on top of the world!

Yay!! It is all mental. We think we can't but we have to convince our own minds that we can.

Now it's onwards and upwards onto W4R3 and powering through to graduate after week 9! We can do it!
