Fed up!

It was all going so well! I'd reached week 6 and was mentally preparing myself for the 25min runs and beyond when I wake up one morning with a sore Achilles' tendon!!

I've rested for 3 days now and I'm chomping at the bit to get back out there and graduate!

Don't worry, the road will still be out there. Take your time.

Injury has taught me a lot about patience and listening to my body! It's good that you are resting up to let it settle. Hope you are able to get back out there soon.

From experience listen to your body or you could be one step forward and two back Rignold is right the road will still be there waiting for you ! Take care :)

How long did you wait before starting C25K? A few days is nothing in comparison. Don't be tempted to jump the gun, or you may end up waiting even longer - in the mean time, lurk on the forum. I've been off running for a week now, I know how you feel.

Achilles!!! Hmm darned things. They are so temperamental! You'll have to rest it until it feels right. Go careful when you do get back out there.

Rest, and lots of icing! I found icing to be the best! 8 - 10 minutes of icing. Keep that block of ice moving! Do it several times a day

Good luck, hopefully you'll be back out there soon.

Definitely take your time, no rush , 9 weeks is a guide if itakes longer it really isn't a problem, being 100% fit is :D rest as long as you need
