I got mine for ebay a couple of years ago and they have been basic but good. I like the fact I can skip a song if I want and can answer a phone call if I must. I hate doing that on a run. Mine cost me £14.99. They are a bit like these but mine are a little different so I don't know if these are as good. Sound quality is average if your a sound buff (like my husband) they might not be good enough but for me they are fine.
I bought the Swift Headphones £14.99 from Amazon. They're brilliant. I sometimes got irritated by the gentle knock of the cord (it goes between them) on my neck so I just tuck it into my hairband and which stops it completely.
My sony ones were £14.99 and were fine but they conked out and the replacements were from Lidl £3.99. The sound is just the same but the fit is not so good as the Sony ones (in ear ones) so I was looking in Argos for some the other day. The prices of some of them are just mental!
I saw some Bluetooth headphones reduced (red stickered) in TK Maxx yesterday. Some in the sports section and some with the other headphones. They also had a load of Brooks GTS Adrenaline 14's though (mens & womens) reduced to £35 so if you are trying to save cash then maybe don't head off to look at the running shoes .............
I use an old mobile with the C25K podcasts, Runkeeper and my music for dog walking etc etc and shoved a 3 PAYG sim card in it should I need to make / receive an urgent call.
These phones have a mic so I can take a call on the run so this is an added bonus.
Hopefully these will be here early next week and I shall report back after my first road test.
