I cannot run without earphones slipping out...even though i have a pair that were supposedly good for staying put...they dont!!!can anybody recommend any that are really good for not slipping out as these are paramount to my success almost as much as a good pair of trainers...x
Earphones?: I cannot run without earphones... - Couch to 5K
Earphones?
I invested in some Apple Airpods. They have never fallen out (yet!) expensive though. Advantage of having no wires is a huge bonus. You can pick up much (much!) cheaper running earphones on Amazon, etc.
I use a hygge band (hair band) to hold mine in. The hygge bands are quite wide and are designed to sit across the forehead so it keeps the sweat and my hair out my face and holds my headphones in - bonus!! You can do a try before you buy and only pay about £3 for p&p
I have seen them on facebook & was considering getting one.i have been using my buff as a headband to try & hold them in place but its not working too well x
I use Mpow Wolverine Bluetooth in ear headphones. They don't budge and come with a good selection rubber bits to fit your ear - taking the time to find the right combination of rubber bits is time well spent! I think I paid £15 ish on Amazon.
Oh cool...do.they sound good?
I bought the «Powerbeats 3 wireless earphones» this summer, after having the same problem as you, nothing worked for me eighter!
They are a bit pricey, but totally worth it in my opinion. Great sound, great battery capasity, and most importantly: they DON’T fall out during my workouts 😃
Plantronics - brilliant but not cheap
But they connect to your phone with Bluetooth and take calls and have buttons on your ears so great for running.
At the other end of the spectrum, I use Amazon basics wired ear phones with an over the ear loop. I have narrow ear canals and these come with different size buds. I find they stay put well on short runs but for longer runs I must get sweaty enough that they slide out. I overcome this with a piece of micropore tape across the ear phone and my ear. Not the most glamorous of looks but if you saw my recent reply to another post, you will know fashion is not high on my running agenda!!!!
I ALWAYS have one ear empty for safety so I can hear traffic, approaching overtaking runners, cyclists, etc.
I am thinking the same...have been joking about it for a while but i think its the only solution.the ones i have have bendy earwires to supposedly hold them in but i too have narrow ears so even the smallest ones dont seem to fit!!!micropore tape it is then 😊
